Here is a link for Failte Romhat which lists the Griffiths Valuation of Clogher Co. Tyrone. Sadly Failte Romhat is not 100% accurate but in this list you will find the parents of John Adams and Catherine Kelly and which town they were living during the valuation.

Griffith's Valuation was the general valuation of all rateable property in Ireland and was completed between the years 1847 and 1864. It was named after Richard Griffith, Commissioner of Valuation. The valuations were published in a series of over 300 volumes, detailing the names of all the property occupiers in Ireland and the value of their house and land.

I think from your post above you stated John Adams father was also John. In this link he is listed very first listed in Augher which borders Lungs.

Thomas Kelly on the other hand is a bit harder to determine which one he was because there were 4 listed.

There is a Catherine and Thomas Kelly listed in Altanaveragh which is North on the border of Donacavey Parish. Ironically this is near the area my Crawford family was from. Altanaveragh would be a real good possibility and if Catherine was working in Lungs it would explain how she made it to this area to meet John Adams.

The other option would be Thomas Kelly in Cavanacark which is closer to Lungs and Augher.

you can reference the map here but you must have good eyes for this... Annagh (Augher) is in the top center of the southern map of Clogher. you have to right click and rotate the map clockwise until in correct position for reading.

Altanaveragh is on the border of Donacavey. Aghindrumman is about center of the Northern Clogher map and is directly above Killyfaddy.
