I am the descendent of Robert Meredith born 1785 and Mary Ormsby, Henry Meredith Born 1783 Sligo married Jane Wilson 1823, Thomas Meredith Born 1847 Sligo married Mary Ann Johnston in 1854, Archina Meredith born 1887 Ontario Canada, Harold Leonard Johnston Sadler born 1922 Haileybury Ontario, and myself Vicky Sadler Simard born 1959 Haileybury Ontario.
Martin Johnston born 1808 in Sligo Ireland married Jane Sadler born 1817 Roscommon, Mary Ann Johnston born 1854 in Ontario married Thomas Meredith in 1877, Archina Meredith born 1887, Harold Leonard Johnston Sadler, and myself Vicky Sadler.
I would love to connect with any cousins....

Just discovering this website. I am a cousin - living in Calgary, Alberta. I am descended from Martin Johnston and Jane Sadler, through their son Alexander (b. 1850 in Ontario), Alexander’s son Thomas George “Lester” Johnston (b. 1886), and Lester’s son Donald (b. 1926).
It appears that Martin’s father - according to Irish naming conventions - was Thomas. I haven’t been able to find any documentation, however.
