married Anne Mecklem of Tattincake 1840 they had daughters and son John

Hi; My grandfather David Gillespie came from County Monaghan, He is the son of Samuel Gillespie and Margaret Anne (Soden). They had four sons Jack, Alfred, David and Victor. My grandfather David and his brother Jack came to Canada in 1926.

Samuel is believed to be the son of John Gillespie and Anne Mecklem but we have no information about John and Anne. Any information about this branch of our family tree would be greatly appreciated. I have spent almost 10 years looking with little success.
