I'm seeking information about James Cross. Ancestry.com indicates he was born in 1812 in Cavan and married Margaret Their son William was born in 1832 and migrated to Canada where he married Margurite Reid, born about 1840 in Armagh, Armagh, Northern Ireland. I do not have a migration date for William but he and Margurite were married 18 Jun 1861 in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada.

Roots did not have a James Cross baptismal record around 1812 and did not have any James Cross' marriage records. Have you considered autosomal DNA testing?
