Anns parents were John Delany 1798 Ireland and rose quinn 1798 Ireland, they had Bernard 1832 Ireland, John 1835, Patrick 1838 and of course Ann 1825. The Delany family may be from mountmellick, Laois. Not sure about Kennedy. I would be very grateful to hear from your volunteers. Thank you, Wilma

Wilma:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked Roots Ireland and found an 1819 baptismal record in Mountmellick for a Michael Kennedy. See below. I also looked on Roots for Ann's baptismal record or records for her siblings and did not find any records in Co. Laois. I was showing father John and mother with a surname of Quinn on my search. What was the source of your information?

Thank you Roger McDonnell for replying. I saw a birth record for Bernard Delany where the mother was listed as rose Quinn. Don't know if they are my family.

I found a census record in Birr for Michael Kennedy 1820 with father James and mother Catherine don't know if they are my Kennedy family. When Michael married Ann Delany in Brooklyn New York in 1859 they had sons Michael, John, patrick and George between 1862-1866. Any advice you can give me Roger is appreciated. Thank you Wilma.
