Feast of St. Gobnait
The 11th of February is the Patron Saint's Day- Saint Gobnait. There is a Mass in the chapel and children have the day off from school. After Mass there is a walk to St Gobnait's Well. Prayers are said while circling the stone cross at the top of the hill to receive special blessings.
This is followed by a Drama put on by the school children in The Blasket Centre / Ionad an Bhlascaoid Mhóir
