Seeking any information on my 2xGreat Grandmother: Margaret Bradburn. Born 1832 County Carvan Ireland. Transported to VDL (Van Diemans Land) Tasmania for 7 years in 1852 for stealing clothes. Arrived Australia on Vessel Midlothian 24 Feb 1853. Listed as a protestant, unmarried, unable to read or write and was a housemaid.

I haven't been able to locate a baptism for Margaret, the earliest in Cavan is 1810, a Church of Ireland baptism for a Margaret to a mother Margaret and father Richard. Do you know if she had any sister or brothers or is there a marriage record or death available your side?

Hi Clare, thank you for your reply. I have very little to go on. I have attached the files that I have at the moment. I have a Richard listed as her father and mother a Mary. No records of brothers or sisters.
