Looking for info on the family of Samuel Hardy (1781-1867) who was a farmer in Carnearney. He had sons Joseph (a brewery manager) and John. There may have been others in the extended family though not sure where they fit in - Henry William Hardy, James North Hardy. There also appears to be a Joseph Hardy who was a milliner in Ballymena and I'm not sure if this is the same as the brewery manager. Joseph's daughter, Maria, married Thomas Menagh in Belfast in 1873. I'm willing to share info I have with anyone interested!

Griffiths Valuation for 1862 lists Joseph Hardy in Carnearney. He had plot 8 which was a house, offices (outbuildings), a flax mill, a corn mill and about 10 acres. The property remained in his name till 1872 when William Marks took over as tenant.
Samuel Hardy’s death was registered in Ballymena on 6.2.1867. I assume the family were RC since the majority of Hardy households in the Ahoghill area were. There’s quite a few Hardy gravestones in Ahoghill RC church. I don’t see one for Samuel but there is a John from Ballymena.

Ahoghill RC baptism & marriage records start in 1833. There are also some deaths 1833 – 1847. These are on-line on the NLI site.
I don’t see any Hardy households in Ahoghill in the 1766 religious census:

Nor were there any Hardy farms in the parish in the 1825 tithes:
