Hi am trying to find information on my relation Thomas Gilpin Johnson born Tullamore, Armagh 10 July 1838. Father Robert Johnson was a farmer.
I know Thomas went to England and became a clergyman and have records of his wife, her family and their children, but would like to find out about his parents and if he had any siblings.
I also know Thomas died in Armagh 20 July 1916 at The Rock Tavern, Laughgall Armagh.
I would appreciate any help

I see a Robert Johnston listed in Griffiths Valuation for 1864 in Tullymore (parish of Kilmore). He had plot 14 which was about 13 acres in total. The farmhouse appears to have been on what is now the Annalough Rd. A Morgan Johnston was farming next door and so he might be a relation. As might Mordecai Johnston.
Kilmore Church of Ireland baptism records start in 1820. There’s a copy in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast where you can view them free. They may hopefully have Thomas’s baptism and that of any siblings.
