Burkes from Carrigbaun in 1850's

I searched www.irishgenealogy.ie which is a free Irish government site which has church records for the Diocese of Cork and Ross including Drimoleague which is the parish you need. I see an 1841 marriage for a John Burke and Johanna Hayes and an 1840 marriage for a Patrick Burke and Mary Hayes. I can see three baptismal records for John Burke and Johanna Hayes in Caheragh parish which is just southwest of Drimoleague: Denis 1854 Bridget 1858 Daniel 1846.

Do I have the correct family?

Thanks for welcoming me and thanks for the prompt reply. Apologies for my late response. I kind of lost my way back here...

The records of the family I've been researching are actually in the Kilmacabea parish, I found a Marriage record of John Burk and Mary Hayes on Feb 12,1839. Looks like one of the witnesses is a Daniel Burk, there is another name on the line, though I'm not sure who it is or what role it is, the index has it as a Mance Sarsfield ?? The image is not clear.

I also found the baptism records for the eight children to John and Mary or who I presume to be the same parents. I'm seeing the last names having some variability, Burk, Burke, Bourke, and Hayes and Heass? I'm assuming that this happened now and then in the recording process. One of the images is at the bottom of the page and is somewhat obscured and the edge of the page is blacked out so I don't know the name of the child. It also lists John as Bourke and Mary as Heass.  I'll attach it below. Any thoughts on how I could uncover the Childs name and gender?  Also anythoughts on how I could learn more of John and his parents or siblings?

In my experience, the problem is the tattered page of the parish register and likely you will never know the name of the child. It may be worth contacting the parish for their review of the page. I don't see an e-mail address on this link.

Thanks again Roger, any ideas of how I could find out more about John and Mary Hayes and their families? I found the Marriage of John and Mary on Feb 12 1839. One of the witnesses is Danl. Would that normally be a parent? or a Brother? Also there are two pieces of the entry for the marriage that I don't understand, The letters just prior to Danl's name (Pr.?) and the group of letters at the end of the Line?   I've attached the file below.

I think the first abbreviation is to indicate the witnesses to the marriage. Daniel Burke is likely a brother to John and the other name could be Sarsfield but the first name is a problem. Likely a friend or cousin to the bride. The abbreviation at the end of the line is likely the priest's initials. Sometimes you will also see the payment amount to the priest for the service e.g 2 and 6 or 1 and 6.

I think you are going to be stymied in finding siblings or parents because the RC parish records start only seven years before the marriage.
