The station here at Belfast no longer exists. It was a handsome edifice and was busy at that time, approximately early 1900. It is interesting to note the donkey carts and motor cars stationed at the front of the building, denoting a change in travel (for some). The trains were a very important part of life and until the Railway Act of 1831, many people did not move or travel far from their place of origin. From Belfast, people could travel south to Drogheda and Dundalk, and further north into Portadown.
