I am looking for any information on MARY BARCLEY born about 1834. Her parents were JOHN BARCLAY and JANE ROWAN. She went to Ayrshire Scotland sometime before 1857 when she married my great grandfather Thomas Warnock. Mary was a streamstress.It's possible that she had a brother JONATHAN. I have no idea where they lived other than Donagahadee. Any help and/or suggestion on where I should look for more information would be greatly appreciated.

You don’t say what denomination Mary was. Do you know? You might find her baptism in church records. The Church of Ireland and some of the Presbyterian churches in the area have records back to the 1830s. Copies are held in PRONI, the public record office in Belfast. A personal visit is required to view them.
