Francis Gale

Francis Gale - born about 1819 in Carlow, probably daughter of Colin and Mary and born at the Barracks. Raised by James Gale - Colin seems to have died early, probably the Colin that died in 1825. On her marriage certificate (to Frederick Falkiner in Australia after lots of children, and shortly before they both died) says her father was James Gale (so she was probably raised by him, unless someone knows of a daughter Francis to James Gale).

Any information about the family would be most welcome.

Am also hunting for more information about Frederick Edward Falkiner's father "John of Prospect" - son of the Daniel Falkiner who was a brother to the Rev Richard Daniel.
