Young and Gilmore families Bailieborough Co. Cavan

Few Methodist churches have graveyards. They generally use the Churhc of Ireland graveyards. So it;s probably worth searching them.  However if there was no gravestone, you may not locate them. Not everyone could afford a gravestone.

I would love to be able to give you the answers.  The General Register Office (GRO) holds all official records of Irish births, deaths and marriages from 1864 and of non-Catholic marriages from 1845, the historic indexes of which can be viewed at https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp ....free to search. Also utilsie all the resources on http://www.genealogy.nationalarchives.ie/

RootsIreland (fee paying) has the church records, but there are gaps due to missing books and there are errors in transcriptions what is available is:

Church of Ireland: Bailieborough Baptisms 1822 - 1873, Marriage 1809 - 1920 & Burials1809 - 1920

Methodist: Bailieborough Baptisms 1878 - 1919,  Marriage 1881 - 1919

Presbyterian:  Marriage 1845 - 1920  

There is a small Methodist graveyard and there are Presbyterian burials plots at Urcher, Corglass and Glassleck.  Leslie McKeague has compiled 2 books one on the Trinity (Bailieborough) Church and another on Corglass, if you wish to contact him at lesmck57@yahoo.com.

The old Church of Ireland burial ground has been transcribed, I have a list of the names, but I cannot put my hand on it at the moment.  I will send it to you when I get it.
