Hi searching for any information on William Armstrong Clark(e). He was born c1800 but was in London by 1825 when he married Rose Mary Bush in Lambeth. He was reputed to have died in 1856 whilst in Dublin, Dublin. This information was listed in the LDS records by his son John Henry Clark(e) (1831-1904) who joined the Mormons, emigrated to Idaho and became a Bishop in the Church. Information by John Henry Clark(e) also intimated that William had a brother John. I have no other information about William and would appreciate any assistance.

'Dublin' can refer to the city, the county or suburbs so covers quite a number of parishes and congregations, do you have any idea what denomination your Clarks family were at this time ?
The surviving records for most of the Catholic and Church of Ireland parishes in Dublin city are available on the free IrishGenealogy website, there are a number of William Clarke baptisms in the city around 1800, about 5 Catholic some in the Latin form Gulielmus, and about 6 Church of Ireland. None mention Armstrong as a middle name.
Was the son John born in Ireland ? if so his baptism might provide a location, i.e. parish, to help you search

Hi, thanks for the suggestions however I have tried all of them already. Unfortunately I have no clue as to what part of Dublin William was supposed to have died in, the LDS entry says Dublin, Dublin. As to religion he did marry in a Church of England church in England and his children, all born in England were baptised as CofE as well. He is very much a puzzle. I am not sure why he was in Ireland when he died unless he had gone to help sort out some family matters. I believe this was during the Great Famine period.
