John Webb was the boys National School teacher from 1832 until he immigrated to the US in mid 1850s with his entire family. Not sure if he was born there, he probably came in as a teacher from somewhere else. All of his children including my GGGrandmother, Elizabeth Webb, were born in Clonaslee. Elizabeth was the oldest and she married Richard Kilroe of Offaly in the RC church in Clonaslee. Their first child, Susan Kilroe, was baptized there in 1856. John married Mary Cashin who was probably from the neatby area.
