The 1826 and 1828 Tithe Applotment records show that my 4th great grandfather Timothy Kelly paid his dues in townland Terrycrew/Loughanacronan. I am looking for any other information that might be of service to better understand his history. I was in Ireland all last month tracking down what was quite possibly the worng information but it was information just the same.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The RC Parish corresponding to Castletownkindalen civil parish would be Castletown https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0913 where records start in 1829. I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and found these two baptismal records which are possible leads. I also looked at the 1854 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Castletownkindalen civil parish and there were a number of Kellys but no Timothy and possibly he was deceased. There was an Edward Kelly in Teernacreeve townland and I'm wondering if that is the Terrycrew that you found in the Tithe listings.

Thank you for getting back to me. Just today I found another Timothy Kelly in Ballyloughloe Parish townland of Creeve in the Tithe Applotment. Interesting it is the same year. Timothy was married to Ceilly Farrell and supposidly they had one son John about 1805 which is my realtive that emigrated out to New York then to Canada about 1823. Kelly is a very popular name. I spent time today looking at cemetaries in the area and in Castletown area but it is a long time ago. The information we have is that Timothy died in Cork but not sure how or why that is the case. This is quite a puzzle to work on!
