I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland in Co. Limerick for Catherine Lacey baptismal records from 1846-1856 with father John. Two 1851 records came up which are below. Do you have any leads on her mother's name? There was also an 1847 record and also one in 1848.

In fact I do have a lead on Catherine’s mother’s name, but it may have come from a totally unreliable source!

The name I have is Honora Brennan, born circa 1930, and I think I obtained this from another Ancestry family tree.

So if one of the other 2 birth dates for Catherine mention an Honora Brennan,  that might lead somewhere!

There were a number of John Lacey/Lacy records including 1820, two in 1827 and this 1830 record. However, if you don't know their parents names, there is now way to confirm.
