The free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has copies of civil birth records from 1864-1916, marriages from 1870-1941 and death records from 1879-1966. If they were from Caherconlish then the registration district would be Limerick. I located a William Walsh/Julia Kearney marriage record in 1928. Fourth record on the page. Julia was from Co.Cork. Correct couple?

Roger you nailed it. You would not beleive how long i have been struggling. This may open a new venue. I knew Julia was from Millstreet which confirms this record and my father was second child born in late 1930. Finally i know my grandfather was labourer for the county council. Too many correct items to be wrong.
