Hello from sunny Sydney Australia
Im trying to trace my great grandfather Michael Drury b. 1884, father was also Michael Drury.
His marriage registration says he lived in Teevnacreeva at the time of his marriage 24 feb 1916 to Elizabeth Casey of Carrigariff Galway.
Their children together were
Kathleen (Kate) b. 4/4/1919
Bridget (Bridie)
Chris
Michael (Mick)
I know there was a family member whose name was Babe, perhaps my great grandfathers sister?
Any tips much appreciated!

Hello again!
The free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has the image of Michael's civil birth record in August 1883

I checked the 1901 census for Teevnacreeva and found his parents and two siblings but no Michael. Possibly he was working somewhere else in Ireland or maybe England?

I located his parents in 1911 in Teevnacreeva but again no Michael

I also located his parents marriage record in 1874 which lists the names of the fathers of the bride and groom.
