Looking for a Jerimiah Joseph Kennedy born abt 1848 -1851, came to the US around 1853. I believe his family was from the Roscommon or Longford area.

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find any baptismal records for a Jeremiah Kennedy with parents Timothy and Catherine anywhere in Ireland. Do you have any other information that might assist us in locating a record for Jeremiah? A good number of RC churches do not have records back to 1848 so it is possible that your Jeremiah was baptized in one of those churches.
