Migrated to/Born in Australia
Hanora Hassett was born in County Clare in abt 1846 and in March 1854 left from Greenoch, Scotland for Australia. Her parents Michael (b abt 1818) and Mary (nee Sexton,b abt 1821) and her sister Bridget also emigrated arriving on the Ship Conway in June 1854. We believe all of the family were natives of County Clare.
The scant searches I have done have only lead to a Roman Catholic Parish Baptism record of "Hanora Hasset" being baptised in 4 Jun 1848 in possibly the parish od Doora and Kilraghtis in the Diocese of Killaloe. Hanora's mother listed as "Brigida" which appears to match up with Hanora's (or Nora) sisters name Bridget Hassett. Her fathers name appears to be mis-pelt "Joanne"Hassett.
