Newspaper Extract taken from Belfast News-Letter 12 September 1892

Yesterday Mr John Morley, Chief Secretary for Ireland, was occupied with official business at Dublin Castle.  It is rather disconcerting that he should already have to deal with Captain Moonlight, a report having been received that a farmer named James Quinlivan, residing at Lissafin, Tulla, County Clare, was raided on Thursday night by an armed gang, who fired revolver shots into his house.
