My great, great grandfather was James Gillespie who married Bridget Breslin and had a son Patrick in around 1845 in Ireland. They were on the US census in 1850 near Pottsville Pennsylvania. They settled where there were many Irish from SW Donegal. Their children born in the Pennsylvania were Denis, Charles, Mary Ellen and Bridget.
