This Post Office is located on Church Street in the town of Castlebar, County Mayo.
The building was constructed in 1903.
It was designed by John Howard Pentand, the principal surveyor for the Board of Works.
The Post Office closed in 2001 and the building was sold in 2013 to accomodate alternative use.
Although the building is no longer in use, it has been maintained to a good standard.
