William and his father, mother and siblings immigrated from Liverpool via the Robinson Expedition and migrated again to Wisconsin near Erin Township. He was from Catellyons, Charleville, Limerick. He was about 10 when he immigrated on the ship Hebe.

He married Marcella, who was also native Irish. She was also known as Margery. He went to New York about 1841, where my great-grandfather William H was born.

William was a well-respected farmer and his sons, William H. and Michael, became merchants in Random Lake,  Wisconsin. They were all leaders in their community.

After his death, his son William H  and his wife Ellen (Helen) settled in Milwaukee about 1921.
