Hello,
I've been investingating a potential family line and I came across a townland called Farbrague in Wicklow. It was listed as an address in the National School Registers for Rathdrum. I can't seem to find where exactly it was, just find random mentions of it being a townland. Anyone have any clues?
Thank you

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Not sure if this is the townland you are looking for, but there is a townland called Farbreagra in Moyne civil parish. I located the townland on Google Maps and it is 20 kilometers west of Rathdrum.

Hi Roger,
thank you for that, in the various documents it was written Farbrague and always mentioned with some connection to rathdrum, but I think your guess could be a good one as I noticed in the national school registry they beside someone from "Farbrague" was someone listed as being from Aughavanagh, which when google mapped comes up right beside "Fabreagra"... so must be. Strange shift of the name, but not uncommon I suppose. Thanks again for the tip.

Hi JLyons,
There's an area called Farbreaga in Wicklow. Beside Aghavannagh and down the road from Rathdrum. My father currently lives there. He says Farbrague is an old spelling. Would be happy to provide more info.
