Searching for Morgan Fitzpatrick

Have you tried searching for the surname Arnold?  I see a church baptism reference for a Margaret Arnold baptised 1 August 1792 in Wexford Parish.  Her parents werre:  Lawrence Arnold and Mary Kensalough (probably Kinsella).  Baptism sponsors were:  James Murphy & Elizabeth Murphy.  Unfortunately, this particular record does not appear to be in a register that is available oline through the National Library of Ireland, but  you can find the digtisied registers for Wexford here.https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0610

The dates of births of the sons belonging to Morgan and Margaret would indicate that both must have been at least 18 years old.  With the baptism record that you found of Morgan in 1809, he would have been extremely young to have had a family beginning in 1825 and in addition, to have occupied land in the Tithe Applotment Books.  He may be a connection to the family, and the record may be useful.  

The Roots Ireland database where I got the Margaret Arnold baptism record does not have the baptism registers for Wexford parish between 1815-1838 so you might consider looking at the NLI link just above and go through those registers for the years of 1820-7 for Patrick Fitzpatrick's baptism.  The register for that year is the missing register from Roots Ireland (1815-1838) and the writing is not too poorly.  

You might also see if you can find a death record for Margaret Fitzpatrick which may give her parents' names.  If the family later moved to the US as you indicated that marriages occurred in Boston, a search of naturalisation records may give further information.

Thanks very much for your helpful advice, Jane. I too worried about the birthdate I have for Morgan and what had to be his very young age for the birth of his first son. One thing I constantly worry about is getting the wrong people completely - Fitzpatrick is such a common name. The same thing happens with another branch of my tree, a group of Phelans from County Waterford.
