  • I’ve hit a bit of a dead end with Patrick & Sarah. They are buried here in the states in Illinois. Patrick would be my 3rd great-grandfather on my paternal side. His daughter, Sarah would be my 2nd great-grandmother. Her daughter Frances would be my great-grandmother, her daughter Bernesha was my grandma, her son Craig is my father. I get really snared up on my trace when I hit Sarah & Patrick though. I’m not sure if I’m missing dates or what.

  • I'm sorry to say then, that my great grandparents aren't yours Mine where born and died in Sion Mills, Northern Ireland. They did have a son called Patrick. As far as I know Patrick never left NI. I will double check with my cousin in NI, None of the siblings went. Probably would need to go back to my great great grandparents siblings. I know one did cross over the pond. Well we were almost family :) I do find the Irish line very hard. I'm not that great at Irish research since there is so much missing. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I too am on Ancestry

    I am on Family Search. That's how I found her. I put Sarah Mullen married to Patrick in the search engine and it came up with the above.
