Ellen came to USA and married in Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana to Thomas Sheedy Feruary 2, 1855. She had 2 or 3 children, Katherine in 1856 and my great grandfather Frank January 27, 1858 and perhaps a Mary who was born in 1859 after her father was killed.
Thomas Sheedy was killed in a quarry accident Oct 5, 1859. Ellen then married Eugene Ahearn (O'Hearn)October 5, 1862 and had two daughters, Margaret Ahearn July 12, 1863 and Ella Ahearn February 22, 1865.
