I have a baptismal record for Catherine Devereux, born in 1870 in Gormantown, County Tipperary, and baptized at Ardfinnan Roman Catholic Parish Church on 9 Oct 1870. Her parents were Thomas Devereux (1828-1892) and Margaret Barrett (1834-1898.) She had 7 siblings: Thomas (b. 1867,) Patrick (1868-1922,) Alice (b.1869,) Mary (1871-1958,) John (b. 1875,) Ellen (b. 1878,) and another Thomas (b. 1880.) Where in the United States did she emigrate to? Her brother, the first Thomas Devereux (b.1867,) married Catherine Shine, the daughter of Thomas Shine (1838-1893) and Mary Anglin (1840-1918.) Mary Anglin was a distant relative of mine and in my Ancestry Tree. Let me know if you think this is the same Catherine Devereux and where in the United States she settled. My Anglin family also came from this same area of Ireland and settled near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in Sharpsburg. Thnaks.
