I have my great grandfather Arthur Magrath's marriage to Catherine Gibney of Oldcastle 1845.They married and stayed in Clonmellon.They had four boys: My grandfather Arthur b 1863 William b 1860 (died age 4) James b 1854 (died age 10) their mother died in 1864 after loosing 2 boys the same year,she was 40.
They had John who was baptised 16/11/1856 I cannot find anything else on John.
I would like more info on Arthur as there are parish records missing at the time of his birth.
according to the Griffiths records a Arthur Magrath was a tenant at STAHOLMOG Kells Co Meath and no other person of the same name is listed in Meath or Westmeath.
I am hoping that someone has a MAGRATH / MCGRATH that could be a relative of my G Grandfather.
