In 1843 he married Mary Kelly b 1822 ( Cloonage , Roscommon Ireland d 1878 Bega NSW Australia ) at Goulburn NSW Australia
They later had a store in Wolumla NSW then a store in Pambula NSW two of their daughters were educated by the celebrated Sir Henniker Heaton .
William died in 1884 age 67 years in Wolumla NSW buried at Rookwood Catholic Cemetery & Crematorium Sydney NSW
