My name is Ruth Bentley my grandfather and grandmother were Michael and Hannah Sullivan (nee Manning) they lived at the Glebe in inchigeelagh. I am looking for any help in tracing my family history . I spent many summer holidays in my youth on the farm. They had three children my mother Margaret her twin Jackie and younger sister Mary. I believe my grandfather Michaels father was John Sullivan and his wife Ellen. Would love to hear from anyone who could tell me more about my family tree. I think we were related to the Credons ( Credons Hotel) and my grandmother was related to Timothy Manning who was a cardinal in the US in the 70's

Hi Ruth my name is Joan Manning and we are second cousins. My Dad Connie Manning was your Mums second cousin.i do remember you and Ann staying at the Glebe when we were young. We called to your grandparents often when we went to Inchigeelagh. I was very fond of your mum and we knew her as Peggy she sent me a letter which I still have after one of her visits to Ireland and she and Dads brother Dick were great friends. I hope life is good for you and your family. Joan Manning Cork City
