The records show that there was two Jacob Switzer's born in 1756 - one was 5.5.1756 to parents Martin and Mary Elizabeth Switzer and the second was 29. July 1756 the parents here were Martin and Barbara. Both these records show that the baptismal took place in the Church of Ireland Rathkeale but no sponsors or other names are shown. The address in both cases was the Courtmatress which is to the North of the town
There was a marriage in the same church between Jacob who is shown as a Weaver and Hariot SHIRE: the Hariot could have been misspelt.- Hariot was born in Rathkeale 12.06.1754 to Dorothy and Charles Shire
I have not looked for children but now that you have this information, you might like to investigate further
