1829 Tithe Applotments record indicates Michael in Carnaveagh townland, Aghnamullen Parish, County Monaghan. Initial application for citizenship filed in 1840 in New York identifies Michael as 40 years old and a native of County Monaghan.
Michael and family moved to near Grand Rapids, Michigan circa 1845 where he died in 1866.
