Hi, I am the great grandson of thomas farrelly and mary anne reilly who came from the virginia area. Thomas was born in 1854 in kilnagun and mary reilly in coreagh in1855. I saw in one parish a thread about these two but cannot post on there. I am stuck with getting any info about the siblings or parents of these two.

Thomas and Mary Anne were married in Lurgan RC church on September 10 1875. I did not locate a civil marriage record which would have shown the names of the fathers of Thomas and Mary Anne. The subscription site Roots Ireland shows four baptismal records for children Anne 1876 Matthew 1877 John 1879 Catherine 1882
Sponsor names of interest were Anne Farrelly Patrick Reilly Bridget Reilly Phill Reilly Terence Reilly. Some or all of thes sponsors could have been siblings to Thomas or Mary Anne.
I looked for Thomas Farrelly baptismal records in Lurgan. There were records in 1844-1845 but the next one was 1857.
There were two Mary Reilly baptismal records in 1855 August 241855 father Dan Reilly mother Ellen Mulvany. They lived in Tandergee. The other record was August 17 1855 father Bernard Reilly mother Peggy Brady They lived in Lisgrey.

Roger McDonnell, Your help certainly put me on the right road. The sponsors you mentioned were in fact the siblings of mary ann reilly which, in turn, gave me her parents. That is half the puzzle solved for which I am very grateful.
