Bridget Joyce was my paternal grandmother. My dad Edward travelled to the UK to seek work and a new life after both his parents had tragically died at a relatively young age. Bridget named her eldest daughter Bridget. Bridget always liked to offer up a prayer to St Joseph. I would always have liked to meet Bridget, unfortunately she passed on long before I was born. May she be granted eternal peace. Bridget Joyce was my paternal grandmother who died circa 1950.
