John Callaghan, his wife Honorah, (McCarty), and their children, David, Cornelius, Jeremiah, Ellen, Owen, Denis & John were members of the Peter Robinson settlers.
Denis is my ggg-grandfather and my maternal grandmother's great-grandfather.
The family arrived in Canada in 1825 and established a homestead in Ops, Lindsay, Ontario. My grandmother Eleanor Callaghan Warner spent much time with family in Canada and maintained very close relationships with all of them. She grew up in Pennsylvania and New York State.
