Looking for any information on a Patrick Hagan, wife's name Cecilia (Maiden name unkonwn). They were from County Longford Ireland. They had a son William Hagan (my G-G-Grandfather) born October 1835. He moved to Lancashire, England where he married Maria Killaney (also from Ireland) and then they, with their 4 year old daughter, Catherine came to America in April, 1865 Any information would be most welcome!

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and was not able to locate a Patrick Hagan marriage record to a lady named Cecelia
I was also unable to find a baptismal record for a William Hagan with the parents listed in Co. Longford. Likely the marriage and baptism occurred in a parish that no longer has records back to 1835 and earlier.

Thank you for checking. I am not sure what Parish they were from, all I know that it was indeed Longford. The information comes from William's naturalization record. I have also looked at the Catholic Parish registers and came to the same conclusion. I did see the name Hagan a few times but not sure of any names from Wiliam's family besides his mom and Dad. I am not sure however where in Ireland Maria Killaney is from because they (William & Maria) were married in Salford, England in 1860, the record just says Ireland for place of her birth..
