Constantine Gonzaga CONNOLLY moved to Canada with his family at age five years old. They landed in St. John, NB and after staying there for some time, they packed up and moved to Fredericton, NB. where his father was employed as a brickmason. On reaching adulthood, Constantine became a shoemaker, but after a few years he became involved in the lumber and shingle business in Madawaska, NB. After a few years in business in that area, he got a job as a Customs Officer and was posted to McAdam Junction, NB
