Bridget O'Donnell was born in The Holm, Buncrana, Donegal and was a daughter of Patrick O'Donnell from Buncrana, Donegal and her maw Amelia McLoughlin. She was a sister of Mary, Sarah, Ellen, Patrick and Charles O'Donnell.
Bridget settled in Port Glasgow, Scotland and married on 31.12.1891 Thomas Johns/Jones from there. As witnesses were listed Chas O'Donnell and Bridget McLaughlin. Her husband was an iron ship plater.
In Census 1901 stayed Bridget with husband as head of family, their 3 sons and the 4 children of her late sister Mary (married McDonald) in Port Glasgow.
Their children were named Thomas Mitchell JOHNS, James, Charles and at least Amelia (*1901, married McKenna).
Bridget JONES (nee O'Donnell) died of a vulnerable heart desease on May 28 ,1922 in Port Glasgow.
