Looking for info on Martin Gibbons who married someone called Kate and had a son called John who went to America and fought in the US Civil War in the 1860s.
Martin and Kate had other children called Mary, Winifred, Peter, and Bridget (all born in Scarriff)
Martin and Kate both died in Scarriff (1882, and 1879 respectively)
Martin born in 1807 and Kate in 1804. I do not know Kate's maiden name.
