Margaret Butler married James McDonnell about 1851 in Ireland. She is the Margaret McDonnell, wife of James and mother of James in the attached assisted immigration passenger list. The family arrived in Australia on the 'Irene' on 16 October, 1852. Margaret's parents were Daniel John Butler and Winifred Kennedy.
Margaret was born in Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary about 1832 and died in Australia on 28 July, 1877.
