Tibohine (Roscommon) County Roscommon
This is the school which my mother attended from 1923.
It's mentioned in Hansard (the official record of the UK Parliament) in 1900 when a question was raised about the non-payment of wages to the assistant school teacher. The reply was that the number of pupils regularly attending didn't justify a second teacher!
