We recently visited Ireland for the first time and stayed in Swineford County Mayo where we met some wonderful people including Mairin Noone who was a tremendous help in our search. We visited Tibohine old Graveyard Ballaghaderreen where we found grave of Patrick and Mary McDermott. Patrick and Mary we believe to be Johanis McDermotts Brother and Sister in law. We cleaned the gravestone and I have included picture. We met Tim McDermott a resident of Tibohine and we hope that he is a relative.
We have uncovered an incredible history of Irish people from Countys Roscommon and Mayo in Wolverhampton around the mid/late 19th century. I am happy to share with the group if you are interested. We understand the reasons why people left Ireland during this period but we lack concrete facts about the Mary McDermot born, we think in Tibohine ,1864 died 1937 in Wolverhampton England. Mary married Bernard Salmon of Killukin-Roscommon in England. Can you please help?

Hi, The Mary McDermott who married Bernard Salmon was born in Dudley, Wolverhampstonshire, according to numerous UK cenuses--and not in Ireland. I hope this is helpful.
