Daniel Patrick 1768-1820 was born in Scotland but immigrated with wife Margaret Crawford to Ireland. He appears in the Flax farmer records in 1796 as a flax farmer at Gallen. His daughter Jane married William Newton living in Ferbane. His daughter Johanna married William Lee . The Lee and Newton families came as assisted immigrants to Australia.
