 James GUINNESS was born in 1811 in  Ireland, He was a Silk Weaver.  He married Catherine Flannery on February 3, 1833, in Manchester, Lancashire, England. They had five children in 10 years. He died on January 9, 1880, in Paterson, New Jersey, at the age of 69.
