Bridget 'Biddy Faherty' was likely born in the parish of Salerna (aka ocassionally as Knock, Kilannin) in South Connemara - probably in the townlands of Taughmore (Teach Mór), Cloghernagcon (Clochar na gCon). She married Martin Naughton of Ballydonnelan, Spiddal, sometime before 1860 and lived there till her death, sometime after 1911. They had a family of 10, including my grandfather Michael Naugton (Micilín Mháirtín Eoghain) (1867-1945).
