Can you clarify the names? The subject line shows O’Leary family but the message shows the father of Mary and Norah was a McCarthy and O’Leary was the maiden name of their mother. I could not find any baptismal records for Mary or Norah  McCarthy with mother Kate O’Leary.

Hello, I am afraid I really don't know the correct surnames of the sisters. Mary used Timothy McCarthy as her father and Kate O'Leary as her mother's s surname. Norah's records were lost in a fire, but she called her eldest daughter, Catherine, her 2nd daughter Nora and her youngest daughter, May. I was assuming this would an Irish tradition. Neither girls could read or write so maybe they didn't know their parents' names.

I am sorry that is all the information I have except they were from Cork. I initially thought this meant Cobh, but further research indicated they may have been born somewhere in Cork County

Hello again, I had my DNA done on ancestry and it is A255268. I have several matches to McCarthy/ O'Leary/Sheridan family trees on ancestry, my heritage but I am unable to connect to any of them
